Join the Umpire Crew

The 2024 Season is right around the corner and we would love to have you umpire with us.

Becoming an HLL Umpire is a great way to develop leadership, collaboration and confidence; all while helping the youth of Holland and making some extra money.  

Umpiring is open to all who turned 11 years old by December 31st, 2023.

If you are interested in joining the HLL Umpire Crew, email [email protected] with your name and contact information and we will add you to our email list for the 2024 season. 

More information about training, 2024 pay rates, and rule clarifications will be sent to you once you have expressed interest. Be on the lookout for these emails as we are planning on training with Little League World Series and College Umpire trainers. Attendance at training events can impact per game pay as well as post season and district game assignments.

We can't wait for another exciting season!

2024 Training

Umpire Training will consist of an introductory meeting and a clinic, followed up with on-field training.

Umpire Clinic Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 2-3:30pm at West Elementary School. Thank you to those who made it! 
Featuring 2 local veteran umpires. Come prepared to learn wearing shoes you can move around in.
Coaches are welcome and encouraged to join all training sessions.
