Hello Holland Little League Families!

Back by popular demand, Baseball and Softball Open Gyms will be back this month!

Each Sunday during the month of January, we will be holding open gyms for boys and girls that are part of HLL -AT NO COST! These open gyms promise to be a fun, engaging development opportunity for baseball and softball players of all abilities to shake off the rust and get back in the swing of things!

These Open Gyms will be held at Holland West Elementary (500 West 24th Street).

In an effort to prioritize safety and maximize the amount of instruction for each athlete, we are limiting Baseball and Softball open gyms to 36 athletes. These sessions will be targeted to HLL athletes that are currently 8-12 years old.

Here is the calendar for the month of January. As you can see, this year there will be separate sessions for Baseball (1:30 pm) and Softball (3 pm). Please utilize the link to each date to sign up for the sessions your athlete is interested in and able to attend:

Please be sure to fill out the form associated with each individual session for EACH ATHLETE that you plan on attending. Athletes will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. If your plans change and you are not able to make it to a session you signed up for, please let us know and we will remove your child’s name.

Home Run Derby Information:

We would love for you to spend the entire afternoon with us if possible!

Please check in/sign in at least 10 minutes before your age group's time slot.

Players may choose to have their own pitcher: this can be any adult family member, friend, or coach.
We will provide a pitcher if the player does not have one.

Players/pitchers waiting their turn will wait in the 3rd base dugout or stands until their turn.
They will go to the 1st base dugout or stands when done.

Each player will have 60 seconds to hit as many home runs as possible over the orange fencing.

Pitcher cannot pitch the next pitch until the previous hit has landed.

Top 3 in each division will go to the finals.

Home run distances will be age appropriate.

Start times are approximate. We will start one division after the other.

All other events are open to play as much as you'd like.
